Brightwell recognized as one of Georgia's top 40 innovative companies

The Technology Association of Georgia has released its annual list of the Top 40 Innovative Companies in the state.

TAG’s Top 40 Awards recognize Georgia-based technology companies for their innovation, financial impact and their efforts at spreading awareness of the state’s technology initiatives throughout the country and across the world.

After reviewing 40 of the top innovative tech companies in Georgia, the TAG committee will elect 10 companies that showed the highest distinction of innovation.

       TAG will announce the Top 10 and the Top 40 companies will showcase at the TAG Summit on March 3-4 at the Cobb Galleria. Last year, more than 1,300 people attended the conference.

“The Top 40 awards recognize and honor the best and brightest Georgia companies who are leading the way in innovation and impact,” Larry K. Williams, president and CEO of TAG, said in a statement. “Each year TAG recognizes the companies who are keeping Georgia’s technology ecosystem in the global spotlight and helping to grow and advance our state’s technology strengths.”

The companies were selected from more than 100 applications submitted by companies across the state.

       “This year’s competition for the Top 40 was particularly fierce,” Dennis Zakas, Georgia’s Top 40 Innovative Company Awards Chair, said in a statement. “The winners demonstrate that innovation powers Georgia’s technology community.”
